An article in the New York Times recently noted the decline in the use of cursive handwriting. In the third grade I argued with my teacher while learning it that I would never use it. Ms. Nichols - I was wrong.
oh my gosh, I NEVER write in cursive! Except for my name. And if I tried, it would be next to impossible to read and so slow. p.s. I love that you argued w/ a teacher in 3rd grade. I never would have done that...too shy.
So cute...I have to say I have to work really hard when teaching handwriting...as my rushed scribble is like that of a doctors! (I found you through Laura's blog...I'll be back :))
Living in New York, but loving all sorts of places. This blog is meant as a way to share moments of my life, things that I see, and other miscellaneous "postcards" and "snapshots" of my life with my friends and family.

I LOVE cursive, I'm so happy I was forced to do all those lines! I hope it doesn't disappear.
Very nice post. I'm sure Ms. Nichols would love to know that.
